While working on some elements for this website I found myself wanting to listen to something I usually don’t. I’ve known Setzer for quite a while now and have listen to his work here and there before. Though this is the first time I’ve listen to his latest EP from start to finish. I ended up listening to it 3 times in a row.
The artwork he had was photographs with a simple typography title on it. I was inspired to make something with a bit more artsy organic edge to it while still keeping the spirit of the graffiti, trains and city featured in his choice photography. And with typography to symbolize his sampling style. Thankfully he liked the work enough to use this art.

Setzer’s musical style with this EP is filtered, funky, glitchy house. He doesn’t have a huge online presence but there are couple places to find his work.
